Robert is one of a very small number of intellectual property professionals working at a European IP firm who has a law degree from the United States and is qualified to practice before both the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. Robert is also active in Unified Patent Court litigation and serves as a valuable bridge between the US and European teams in such matters, ensuring that communication and strategy are aligned during the demanding pace of UPC litigation. Given his experience with both United States and European IP law, Robert frequently writes and speaks on a variety of IP-related topics. His most recent conference speaking positions have been at the 2026 AUTM Annual Meeting in Seattle and the 2026 INTA Annual Meeting in London where he discussed the latest updates from the Unified Patent Court.
