Todd Langford is Director, Global Intellectual Property at Illumina, where he leads strategic initiatives involving intellectual property portfolio management, technology licensing, patent transactions, and innovation strategy. He works closely with business, R&D, and legal teams to develop and execute IP strategies that support technology development, commercialization, risk management, and business growth.
With nearly 20 years of experience in intellectual property law, Todd has advised organizations ranging from emerging technology ventures to global market leaders on patent procurement, licensing, technology transactions, and portfolio development. His experience spans both private practice and in-house leadership roles, providing a unique perspective on the intersection of intellectual property, business objectives, and value creation.
Todd holds a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA.
