Gideon Myles is Associate General Counsel, IP at OpenAI, where he specialized in a variety of IP issues including overseeing OpenAI’s patent, trademark, and open source compliance programs. Previously, he was Head of IP at Dropbox where he had similar responsibilities. Prior to his legal career, Gideon was a software engineer at IBM Research and Apple Inc. Gideon received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Arizona and J.D. from Santa Clara University.
